Check upload limits and duplicates

You can upload as many photos to a gallery as your storage holds. There is no limit on the number of photos per gallery.

Files that work

• JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC, HEIF and AVIF.
• Camera RAW: CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG and RAF. Xposure keeps the RAW file and makes a full-size JPEG from it. Your clients see and download that JPEG.

TIFF and PSD files are not accepted. Export them as JPEG first.

Each file can be up to 100 MB in the browser and up to 300 megapixels. A larger file shows Failed in the upload tray with the reason, and the rest of the batch carries on.

Duplicates

When a photo with exactly the same picture is already in the gallery, it is skipped and the tray marks it Already here. Xposure compares the picture itself, not the file, so the same photo exported twice is still caught. The same photo in two different galleries is uploaded to both.

A photo you have edited, even slightly, counts as a new photo.

Storage

Every photo counts toward your plan's storage: the full-size file, the copies Xposure makes for display and, for a RAW, the RAW file as well. A RAW takes about 1.6 times its own size.

Your use shows on the Overview and in Settings, Plan & Billing, where you can also add Extra storage in 50 GB blocks. Deleting photos frees their space.

We email you at 80% and 95%. When storage is full, new uploads stop with a message.

Important: More than 10% over your storage, the account is soft-locked: your portfolio and client galleries go offline until you upgrade or delete photos.
