Read a gallery's insights

The Insights tab shows what happened in one client gallery after you sent the link. Only you and your team see it.

Insights count visits to the gallery link, so they need a plan with client galleries: Starter, Pro or Studio. On a portfolio album the tab only asks you to share it. On Studio, the tab is for Editors and up. Earned, Buyers and Sold are for Admins and the owner.

Open it

1. Open the gallery and select the Insights tab.
2. Read the headline first. It says Opened by your client with the visits and people, or Not opened yet. For Admins and the owner, a gallery that sold shows Earned instead, gross before fees and refunds.

Views counts every visit since the gallery was made. Guests counts people over the last 90 days.

The cards

• From link to download: Opened the link, Passed the PIN, Favourited a photo, Sent their selection, Started checkout, Purchased and Downloaded. A step that does not apply to the gallery is left out. Each percentage is of the step above.
• Every photo: views, favourites, comments and purchases for each photo, best earners first. It shows the top 8. Select Show all with the photo count to list up to 500.
• Buyers: everyone who paid, what they paid after refunds and the photos they took.
• Who has been in: each person's visits and downloads over 90 days. Someone is named once they give their name or email.
• Loved, never bought: photos your client marked as favourites that nobody ordered. See Read your client's picks.
• Left in the basket: people who started checkout and stopped, up to 20. The card appears only when there are some.
• Recent activity: the latest purchases and visits, 25 in all. Visits go back 30 days.

Keep the numbers

Select Export CSV to download the traffic, the funnel and every photo as a file.

Note: Your own previews are not counted as visits. Guests, the visits in the headline and Who has been in cover the last 90 days only.
