Version 0.1.1 · Lightroom Classic 10.0+
Studio plan required. The Lightroom plugin and API keys are a Studio feature. If you are on another plan, upgrade your plan first.
Setup, step by step
- Generate your API key. In your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations and click Generate key.
- Download the plugin. Use the Download button above to get
xposure-lightroom-plugin-v0.1.1.zip, then unzip it. You will get a folder ending in.lrplugin. - Install it in Lightroom Classic. Open Lightroom and go to File → Plug-in Manager → Add, then select the unzipped
.lrpluginfolder and confirm. - Connect your account. Select the photos you want to publish, then File → Export and choose Xposure as the export destination. Paste your API key into the Xposure section. It should confirm Connected as @your-username.
- Choose a destination album. Pick an existing album from the list, or create a new one right from the dialog.
- Export. Lightroom renders your selection to JPEG and uploads each photo to that album. You can watch progress in Lightroom and then open the gallery in Xposure.
FAQ
Which file format should I export?
Export as JPEG. The plugin is set up to do this for you. RAW, TIFF, and PSD files are not accepted, JPEG keeps galleries fast to load.
What if I export the same photos twice?
Duplicates are skipped automatically. Xposure recognizes a photo you have already sent to that album and will not create a second copy, so re-exporting a selection is safe. (This compares the actual image, so if you change your edit or export settings it counts as a new photo.)
It says my API key is invalid or expired.
API keys expire 90 days after they are created, and regenerating a key revokes the old one. Generate a fresh key in Settings → Integrations and paste it back into the plugin.
Where do my photos end up?
In whichever album you selected in the export dialog. After the export finishes you can open that album in your Xposure dashboard to review, reorder, or share it.
