Pricing breakdown
How much does ShootProof cost?
ShootProof sells galleries, print sales and studio management on a single subscription. It is the one major platform that meters by photo count rather than gigabytes, which makes it cheap or expensive depending on how you shoot rather than on how much you deliver.
ShootProof plans
ShootProof meters by photo count. Platform fee on sales: 0% on every plan, including the free plan.

What the pricing page does not make obvious
You are billed per photo, not per gigabyte
Every tier is a photo allowance with a storage ceiling attached: 1,500 photos up to 75 GB, 5,000 up to 250 GB, and so on. That favours photographers who deliver large files in modest numbers, and penalises anyone delivering thousands of small JPEGs. Count your annual delivered images, not your export folder size, before picking a tier.
0% commission really does include the free plan
Most platforms reserve 0% commission for paid tiers and take a cut on free ones. ShootProof does not: it states no commission on any plan, free included. For a photographer selling prints on a small volume, that makes the free tier genuinely usable rather than a funnel.
The free plan is 100 photos
Free gives you 100 photos and up to 5 GB. That is one small portrait session, not a wedding. It works as a permanent free storefront for a side business, but not as a trial of a full delivery workflow.
The jump to Unlimited is steep
The ladder runs $10.99, $19.99, $26.67 and then $50/mo billed annually for Unlimited. The 25,000-photo tier covers most full-time photographers, so treat Unlimited as a studio plan rather than the natural destination.
Common questions
Is ShootProof free?
Yes, ShootProof has a permanently free plan covering 100 photos and up to 5 GB, with 0% commission on sales. It is limited in volume but not crippled in features.
How much does ShootProof cost per month?
Billed annually: $10.99 for 1,500 photos, $19.99 for 5,000, $26.67 for 25,000 and $50 for unlimited. Billed monthly those are $12.99, $21.99, $31.99 and $60. Checked 14 August 2026.
Does ShootProof take a commission on sales?
No. ShootProof charges 0% commission on every plan, including the free one. Payment processing fees still apply.
How does ShootProof count photos?
Each plan has a photo allowance with an accompanying storage ceiling, for example 1,500 photos up to 75 GB. Both limits apply, so a plan can run out on either count.
For context
Xposure starts at €8/mo for 20 GB, and bundles the portfolio, client galleries and the booking manager into one plan. Platform fee: 0% on Pro and Studio; 10% on Starter. We price in euros, which is worth knowing if you earn in dollars.
