Kitahama Museum of Craft
A hexagonal cell facade that turns flat at noon. We shot the north face at 6:40 on the third morning, when the low sun gave each cell its own shadow.

Three white volumes on a sloping lot. Summer light, polarised sky, and a long lens from across the river to keep the boxes square.

Nakanoshima Library Annex
One ramp, four floors, no stairs. The oval void was lit from the skylight for about an hour either side of noon, so the whole interior was shot in two short windows.
